Beverage Tumbler

Sipping a cold beverage has never been so much fun! When I spotted this plastic tumbler in Centre Point, I knew that I had found something that will actually make me want to drink my 7 cups of water.
I got really excited cause I've always wanted one of those, they just make drinking water x100s more fun :)! Here's the one I got.

Will post more pictures of other available designs if I go back there. They range from different colors, designs, and letters as welll.

The Balm - Lip/Cheek Stain Review

To be honest, I had no idea that TheBalm existed in Bahrain. It was a complete shock ( in a good way) when I saw it in Centrepoint or Lifestyle.. You can find it at Citycenter or Ramli Mall.. not sure if they're sold anywhere else.

There were three different shades, Beauty Queen ( Sheer Berry Pink) , Prom Queen ( Sheer Rosy Pink), and Homecoming Queen ( Sheer Soft Peach). The colors are shown above as well. I would suggest that you decide on which color you plan on getting before going in to buy it, just because there weren't any testers to swatch the colors.

 

I got it in the shade beauty queen which looks completely different than what you see on the tube. Its more of a sheer pink that is a great cheek or lip stain when you're going for a more "natural look". It also stays on for a while, and blends wonderfully into your skin. However, it is a bit blotchy looking when I apply it on my lips, but it usually blends in after adding a couple of layers.

I didn't swatch it just because the true color doesn't really well on camera. Not to mention, it is a great dupe for Benefit's Benetint that is sold in Sephora. These staniacs retail for 8.200 BD ,but I got them on sale for 2.9!

Hair Therapy: ALOE - VERA?

ALOE VERA PLANT

YES! You've heard all the hype about Aloevera and how its so magical, or you haven't heard about it at all. Either way I can personally tell you about my experiences with this aloevera hair treatment. I wash my hair every other day to preserve my hair's natural oil-balance, but you know sometimes I just want to give it a little treatment,.This is when this Aloe Vera hair treatment comes in...

Steps:

1- Cut a piece of your Aloe Vera plant ( If you have one at home, if not, it would be really useful if you plant one)

2- Slice it into 5-6 pieces, depending on the plant's length.

3- Using a knife, cut the plant's skin in half to reach to the plant's gel.

4- Rub the gel onto your scalp and hair, Leave it on for 15-30 minutes, and then wash like you normally would!

•  Promotes hair growth for bald spots, or just your normal hair.
• Revitalizes the hair and scalp to prevent hair loss.
• Balances the hair’s natural oils, which prevents excessively oily or dry scalp.
• Helps in eliminating dandruff.

Candle Of The Month: Fireside Candle

   Nothing's better than burning  this Bath&BodyWorks Fireside candle in this freezing cold weather! I was very skeptical about getting this candle at first since I used to hate the way it smelled, but as I started to smell it everytime I visited B&BW .I actually started to like it! Its such a perfect Fall/Winter scent. The description says its  a blazing fire in wintertime, this blend of cedar and sandalwood is layered with leather and the richness of amber. All I can say is that it could be Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather dupe! I honestly love the scent of that perfume on both men and woman, and having it as a candle is just perfect! As for the burning, I have the 14.5 oz candle which burns pretty evenly as oppose to their 4oz candle which I don't think I'll ever get one those ever again.
